PROJECT

HIGHLIGHTS

Once a popular gathering place known as The Beach House, the structure was quickly fading away and falling in disrepair.
It is now being restored, preserved and retrofitted for maximum comfort with a minimum carbon footprint.
For a reduced impact on the environment and because we believe we can all live better in smaller homes, the existing building footprint of this home will remain intact.
That means no addition will be built. That is not to say that the home will not feel bigger than actually is. There are many ways to make any home feel more spacious, the main one being proper design.
This green home will be a blueprint for a healthy, comfortable home that will produce as much energy as it consumes. This is referred to as a ZEH - Zero HomeMore on ZEH.
It will also be LEED Certified Home as well, reaching for the ultimate certification, the platinum one.
