* OUR LATEST COMPLETED PROJECTS *
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
* PROJECTS IN THE WORKS * We have not one,
but two magnificent "basement" that will soon be ready for photography.
They both have their unique features, one with a lavish sunk-in home
theatre that is out-of-this world. As nice as the projects above are, our Transformations project will undoubtedly steal the show of our next newsletter! It is just short of being fully ready for photography, with the decor and lighting final touches... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
* NEWSWORTHY *
Green Building - Saving Money and the Environment -
How green is your home? More than 11 million tons of asphalt
shingles enter U.S. landfills yearly. One source suggests that roofing
debris may make up as much as 10% of U.S. landfills. But the difference
between asphalt shingles and much of what otherwise goes in those
landfills is that shingles don't decompose at the same rate. They're stuck
there. Until now. A few states started a new program, where
they recycle asphalt shingles by grinding them into a substance used in
asphalt paving products.

Making your home green and energy efficient during a
remodel is easier - and more effective - than you may think. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
* QUOTE OF THE QUARTER * "a house that favors quality of design over quantity of space satisfies people far more than... those characteristics in reverse". -
Susan Susanka,
bestselling author & architect.

your recently completed project became "Our Working Showroom"* and you have
become "Our Best Salesperson"? When your support
results into a signed project with us, we will show our gratitude to those who recommend
us and to those of you who open their doors to let one of our prospective customers see
"the Working Showroom"*. We'll send you to
dinner at one of Westchester's premiere restaurants, Peter Pratt's Inn, on us! (A $100
value. Good for a la carte dining, Tuesdays
to Sundays). Peter Pratt's Inn
was recently awarded a four star rating by Gerry Dawes, a writer for The Journal News. You can find out more by visiting the web site,
Peter Pratt's Inn.com.
You'll be able to review the menu and wine list, and even get directions. We
recommend printing the map. Bon Appetit! *What WE call a "Working Showroom" is an actual, real, functional project (i.e.: kitchen, bathroom) that has been built around existing conditions, restrictions and obstructions, as opposed to those setup showrooms found in retailer's displays where the only limitation is the designer's imagination! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
