RADIANT FLOOR HEAT IS COOL!

The hottest trend these days is a warm floor under your feet.  Obvious candidates are the bathroom and the kitchen.  You can and will find them soon in any room, even as the primary heating system.  Please check with us again, as we are about to install a system in an entire basement!  The last "obstacle" (the colder floor) that prevented a basement to be more like a lower level matching the rest of the house is now a thing of the past.  Did you know radiant heat is more energy efficient, more comfortable than conventional heat?  It is the cutting edge of comfort, "the best heat you can get".  Find out more here:

HOME BATHROOMS ARE BECOMING SANCTUARIES

The up-to-date master bath where the cool stuff goes is becoming a spa-like sanctuary. You can warm your bones in a steam shower, submerge yourself in a deep soaking tub or linger under a gentle rain shower.

We used to crave jetted tubs and pulsating showers that blasted our bodies like waves pounding the shore. Baths and showers were invigorating, exhilarating, energizing. They left us whistling Zippity Do Da and bouncing around like the guy in the Irish Spring commercial.  No more.

KITCHEN GEOGRAPHY;
CHANGING THE TERRAIN OF THE HEART OF THE HOME

Build bridges, not walls. Islands and peninsulas are the kitchen's new walls. Because you can see over and around them, they connect the kitchen to an adjacent dining area, living room or family room and yet define the kitchen's borders.

Even with an open floor plan, it's important to keep the kitchen from spilling over visually into other spaces.

* HAVE A $100 DINNER ON US

Are you aware that your recently completed project became "Our Working Showroom"* and you have become "Our Best Salesperson"?

When your support results into a signed project with us, we will show our gratitude to those who recommend us and to those of you who open their doors to let one of our prospective customers see "the Working Showroom"*.

We'll send you to dinner at one of Westchester's premiere restaurants, Peter Pratt's Inn, on us! (A $100 value.  Good for a la carte dining, Tuesdays to Sundays).

Peter Pratt's Inn was recently awarded a four star rating by Gerry Dawes, a writer for The Journal News.  You can find out more by visiting the web site, Peter Pratt's Inn.com.  You'll be able to review the menu and wine list, and even get directions. We recommend printing the map.

Bon Appetit!

*What WE call a "Working Showroom" is an actual, real, functional project (i.e.: kitchen, bathroom) that has been built around existing conditions, restrictions and obstructions, as opposed to those setup showrooms found in retailer's displays where the only limitation is the designer's imagination!
