Compensation:
• $35 to $50/Hr starting salary, depending on experience.
• 40 hours workweek, 8 hrs workday, 8 to 4:30, Monday to Friday, not incl.
commuting.
Most projects are located upper Westchester NY (some scheduling may need to
be done between 7 & 8 AM, and/or between 4:30 & 5:30). Payday is
bi-weekly on Thursdays.
• 7 paid holidays per year*:
New Years Day – Easter - Memorial Day - Independence Day - Labor Day -
Thanksgiving Day - Christmas
• Vacation:
2 weeks paid vacation after one year completed
3 weeks paid vacation after 2nd year completed
4 weeks paid vacation after 3rd year completed
4 weeks thereafter
Vacation time must be requested minimum 4 weeks in advance, and can not
interfere or overlap with owner’s vacation and/or time off.
• 5 Non-cumulative paid sick days per year*.
• Automatic $1.00 pay raise every 6 months
• Bi-weekly phone allowance of $35 to be included in every paycheck
• Company supplied vehicle, gas and maintenance (you are responsible for
keeping vehicle clean inside-out and scheduling maintenance). Vehicle is
kept at your residence.
• Company supplied power tools
• Sales tax paid by Absolute Remodeling on purchase of personal tools.
• Health Insurance (Horizon Health Care) for you & your spouse available -
Absolute Remodeling pays 50%. Different plans available.
• Retirement plan available - You can contribute up to $10,000 of your
salary to a plan and Absolute Remodeling will match contributions up to a
maximum of 3% of your compensation

• Continuing education –1 to 3 days seminars & conventions (min. 1, max. 2
yearly)

Tasks
Description:
Scheduling:
-Crews (3-4)
-Subcontractors (4-6)
-Inspections with building department
-Periodic meetings with homeowners
-Creating projects schedules using software
-Vehicles fleet maintenance
Materials:
-Order job stock supplies (a few key employees are already doing so)
-Responsible for returning excess materials
-Responsible for keeping location log on all power tools and equipment, for
their maintenance and order; Also responsible for equipment rental
-Special order items, after confirmation with Sylvain
-Occasional items pick up at suppliers
Production:
-Manage, schedule, supervise and train all crews and subcontractors at all
job sites, usually 4 or 5 of them.
-Visit each job site every other day or so.
-Make sure work sites are kept clean, organized and more importantly safe
for the workers and homeowners. Make sure employees follow safety rules and
wear safety gear.
-Make sure employees and subcontractors adhere to our recycling program.
-Daily “hands-on”, incl. occasional complicated tasks
-Communicate via email (preferably) and/or phone with homeowners concerning
schedule, progress and materials and fixtures homeowner needs to supply.
-Write change orders when work deviating from drawings and/or written
specifications (homeowners are welcomed to do so) – Pricing and selling
still to be handled by owner
-Stay in touch with office manager, estimator, draftsman and occasionally
the engineer.
-Weekly meetings with owner.
